General Questions

Who is Jasmine's Flowers?
Jasmine's Flowers has been a family-owned business since 1999, with years of experience providing breath-taking floral arrangements. We are located in the city of Montebello (within the County of Los Angeles). Our company president, Letty Guttierrez, is very friendly and creative, and holds herself to a high standard.

What are your store hours?
We are open from 9am - 6pm; Monday through Saturday. We are closed Sundays; however, we will open for our customers with an advanced appointment.

How do I care for my flower bouquets?
Recut the end of stem(s) at an angle. Add water to arrangement immediately and fill container daily, and whenever their water becomes cloudy. Keep in a cool location, out of direct sunlight. Use floral food/preservative.

I want to order something which I can't find online. Is this possible?
Definately. Visit our store to view additional arrangements or to design a unique personal design. Furthermore, we will significantly be increasing our online floral displays in the weeks to come, to include suggestions for every occasion. Our motto is: "if we don't have it, we can get it."

I understand that you will soon be improving you website. What features will be added?
Other than significantly increasing our floral displays, you will be able to order, pay for (shopping cart), and arrange delivery of our floral arrangements. We will also incorporate search capability and add more picture galleries, displaying our recent on-site decorating projects.

What are your specialties?
Although we sell a wide variety of beautiful bouquets, we also specialize in providing on-site flower decorating, particularly with weddings and quinceañeras (similar to sweet sixteen). However, we are able to handle all occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries and funerals.

What makes Jasmine's Flowers different than other florists?
We are flexible and pride ourselves in providing the best possible service ...and will "go the extra mile" to please our customers. Furthermore, our prices are very reasonable, as you will see.

What are my payment options?
We accept cash and most major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Checks are acceptable for deposits and installments on larger accounts, as long as they are made one month prior to event (to allow ample time for check to clear). Please note that checks are not allowed to pay the final balance, which is due before the event takes place.

Also, note that a minimum 20% deposit is required on larger accounts.



Event Decorating for Weddings and Other Occasions

How far in advance should I contact you when ordering wedding flowers or scheduling event decorating services?
We ask that you give us at least a month advance notice. However, more than a month's notice is preferred to ensure availability.

What should I bring for my initial consultation?
It is advisable that you bring along items that will help in setting the mood for the event, such as personal pictures and magazine clippings, and a color scheme for dresses and event. Also, let us know what budget you are working with.

What can be included for event decorating?
Event decorating is available for halls, banquet rooms, churches, and residential locations. Event sites are decorated to fit your personal style. The service includes flowers and setup, and can include other in-house services and/or products, such as cakes, engraving, chairs, tables, chair covers, linens, centerpieces, limousine service (company-owned), balloon decorations, arches, gazebos, silk drapings, invitations, ...etc.

Delivery is considered an extra charge.
